Emilie watched as Mike fixed his hair, a small smirk crossing her face. Well, just because I help you doesn't mean I have to tell you everything and it also doesn't mean that you have to believe everything that I say. She narrowed her eyes, looking kind of offended by this. She sighed, looking away from him and down toward her ankle. She rolled her eyes, "Well, sor-ry, mister defensive." She muttered, her voice just as taunting as his was.

Mike sighed, looking for a chair to sit down in. He looked at Emilie as she spoke. He was Beginning to notice that she was a very sensitive person. Or at least that's what he thought of her. "I was just saying that." He said, smiling softly. Mike shoved his left hand into his pocket, straightening his shirt with the right hand. He kind of had a feminine side to him.

Emilie smiled faintly, lifting the bag of ice from her ankle for a moment, since it was beginning to get a little too cold for her to handle. She sighed, looking up toward him. I was just saying that. She giggled softly, shrugging. "I know." She said, her voice sounding feminine and a little childish. She smiled, pointing at the free space on the bed beside her, "Come on... Sit." She said. Her tone was friendly, but her words sounded a bit commanding.

Mike smiled, moving towards the bed. He sat down carefully. "So?" He said, not really knowing what to say. He folded his hands and placed them on his lap, watching Emilie with a smile shinning brightly on his face.

Emilie watched him sit down, looking rather pleased that he listened to her. She sat up straighter, gently putting the pack of ice over her ankle again. So? Emilie put her index finger on her chin and looked up toward the ceiling, pursing her lips as she tried to think of something. After a moment or two, she looked at Mike again and shrugged. "I dunno." She said finally, smiling broadly, for once, looking rather innocent and young.

Mike laughed watching Emilie smile. "Are you okay then?" He asked her, motioning towards her ankle. He knew she had been through a rough night. He probably wouldn't have been so happy as Emilie seemed to be right now, but that was just him. I'll probably never see or talk to this random girl, I just met and helped, ever again. He thought to himself.

Emilie's smile grew a bit wider as she listened to him laugh. Are you okay then? Emilie followed his finger toward her ankle. She pouted, shrugging sweetly. She sighed, once more looking up at Mike. "I suppose so." She said softly with a nod. She didn't really want him to leave, however. If felt good to have someone near her again, a friend. But, she couldn't keep him if he didn't want to stay. Well, she could, but that might be a little forceful and cruel, and though Emilie may be both at times, she didn't want to screw up her friendship with this boy.

Mike let out another laugh. "You make the cutest faces sometimes." He told her, smiling. He watched as she pouted and his smile grew larger. "Well then, I guess I should leave." He added, not really caring if he did or not. He wasn't trying to be rude, he just didn't want to bother Emilie.

You make the cutest faces sometimes. Emilie giggled at this. Not many people complimented her in a such a way, so it naturally made he feel wonderful about herself. "Awh, thank you, Mikey!" She said cheerfully, her voice sounding rather thrilled that he would say such a thing. He rested her hands on her lap, her smile faded a bit as she listened to his words. Well then, I guess I should leave. She wished he wouldn't, but it was his choice, she supposed. She sighed, her smile completely disappearing from her face. She nodded slowly, looking down. "If you want." She said, looking up at him from under her eyelashes, she pouting her lips once more, flashing him an adorable puppy-face, as if she was sad about him leaving.

Mike rolled his eyes playfully as she called him Mikey. He smiled, but it faded as her's dissapeared. "Well, I just don't want to bother you." He said, watching as she made a cute puppy-face. He placed his hand on her shoulder, smiling sweetly.

Well, I just don't want to bother you. Emilie looked shock by his words. Her jaw dropped and her eyes went wide, as if he had just said something extremely horrible. Bothering her? How could he think such a thing? Emilie quite enjoyed Mike's company. She stared at him for a few moments, before closing her mouth and narrowing her eyes. She slapped his upper arm ever so lightly with the back of her hand, in more of a tap than a slap, as if scolding him. "How dare you think such a thing, Mikey!" She said in that of a gasp. She pouted like a child who was unhappy about his or her mother not buying them ice cream. She shook her head. "Bothering me... You're not bothering me at all, Mikey."

Mike smiled and started to laugh. "Fine, I guess I will stay then." He said, smiling sweetly at Emilie. He didn't really have anything better to do anyway. "But what should we do?" He asked, not wanting to just sit here and be bored. He continued to smile, thinking about the possibilities. His mind clicked as he realized that what he asked could have been answered in ways he didn't really want to think about. He chuckled lightly at the thought, hoping Emilie didn't think about it like the way he did.

Fine, I guess I will stay then. Emilie clapped her hands together childishly, looking rather thrilled by his words, a broad smile quickly pulling the edges of her lips upward. Her eyes shimmered with joy, as if she was genuinely happy he was staying. But what should we do? Emilie's excitement faded a bit at his question. She wasn't exactly sure what they would do. She hadn't thought that far. She put her index finger over her lips and looked up, thinking of the possiblities. After a moment or two of silence, she shrugged, turning her attention back to Mike. "I dunno. What do you want to do?" She asked, resting her delicate hands in her lap.

"I guess it doesn't matter to me. I don't really care." He said, being fully truthful. Of course it wasn't meant in a rude or mean way. Mike just didn't really know what there was to do. He smiled at Emilie and rested his hands in his lap, kind of what Emilie did. He sighed, happy.

I guess it doesn't matter to me. I don't really care. Emilie sighed, her smile turning into a small frown. She really didn't care much, either. She thought about ordering food, but she wasn't really hungry. In fact, Emilie was rarely hungry. She rarely ate much anymore, and what she did eat, she threw up later, as sickening as that sounds. She was extremely self-concious about her figure, and was able to go to great lengths to keep her body looking thin... maybe even a little too thin. She shrugged again. "Well, I don't care either. So pick something." She demanded, though her voice sounded sweet.
