"Uh, hi. I'm sorry to bug you this late at night but are you Nina? Nina Green?" He asked her, looking at her, truely, deeply hoping it was her. He didn't want to look like a complete idiot infront of anyone right now.

Uh, hi. I'm sorry to bug you this late at night but are you Nina? Nina Green? Nina tilted her head to the side, her face growing even more puzzled than it was before. How did he know who she was? She gazed upon him, her eyes slightly narrow as she racked her brain for where she might have seen him before, or met him. But she truly did not remember meeting this boy anywhere before. "Um... That's alright.." She shook her head, "Yes, I'm Nina. Do I.. know you?" She asked hesitantly, staring at him questioningly.

"No, I don't think we have met, but you know Emilie?" He asked, standing there. He felt kind of stupid, but he decided to do this for Emilie. He looked from Nina, to the ground, and then back up to Nina, smiling faintly.

No, I don't think we have met, but you know Emilie? Nina remained confused at where he was going with this, but nodded slowly. "Emilie Autumn? Yes, I know her. Well, sort of. My brother knows her better than I." She explained, opening the door a bit for him to enter if he wished. "... Would you like to come in?' She offered. She didn't want to be rude, even if she didn't know this kid or why he was out so late with Emilie. Nina had always thought Emilie a strange girl. Then again, maybe she never got a chance to talk to the girl when she wasn't half-drunk or completely wasted. But maybe Emilie had changed since those days. Who knows.

"Umm..acutually I was just wondering if you had some ice." He replied, trying not to sound rude. He was always a gentleman unless he was very upset or angry. He looked at Nina with soft eyes. He thought she was kind of cute. He smiled at her, not really realizing that she was confused or lost.

Umm..acutually I was just wondering if you had some ice. Nina nodded, a faint smile crossing her face. "Yeah, sure... Hold on. I'll get you some." She said sweetly, walking back into her room toward a white, mini-refigerator by the window. Her room was for the most part very neat. There were a few canvas' with sketches or paintings on them, some finished, others only half completed. There were cases for musical instruments scattered around the room, though most were out of the way. Her flute was together on her bed beside her laptop, as if she had been playing it before he walked in. She shut her laptop as she walked by it, as if she were afraid of him seeing what was on it if he were to walk in. She bent down in front of the fridge, opening it, reaching to take out some ice. She paused, however, realizing she wasn't sure if she had something to put it in. She sighed, looking down as she thought. A glass might be to small, and she wasn't sure if she had any kind of bucket.
She sighed, running her fingers through her hair as she tried to think of an alternative. She stood up again, shutting the door with her hip, walking back out to him. She tilted her head to the side, leaning on the door, "How much do you need...?" She asked. Really, she felt kind of awkward doing this. What the heck would Emilie and some kid need with ice, anyway? But she didn't ask. That would be kind of rude to intrude, considering she didn't know either of them completely well. She ran her fingers down her hair again, waiting for his reply.

"Um..not that much. See Emilie sprained her ankle. Maybe just wrapping it in a towel or something, if you don't have a bag." He said as he watched her intently. He might have to go back to Emilie's dorm to get a towel if Nina didn't have one. He thought.

Um..not that much. See Emilie sprained her ankle. Maybe just wrapping it in a towel or something, if you don't have a bag. Nina nodded slowly, trying to think of what she had to put it in. "Okay.. You know, I think I might have a plastic bag I can put it in." She said, suddenly remembering the sandwich bags she had used for hairties and such. She didn't put her hair up much anymore, though. She thought it looked kind of strange since her hair was so short now. She walked back into her room, turning on a lamp that was ontop of her bureau. She fumbled through the drawer, finally finding a small, empty, ziplock bag. She nodded, shutting the drawer and walking toward the tiny refridgerator on the opposite side of the room.
She bent down once more, filling the bad halfway with ice. She didn't want to put to much, since if it were to melt it might spill and get all over and Emilie probably wouldn't be very happy with her. She pressed her fingertips tightly along the top of the bad, sealing it as best she could. She stood up again and closed the door to the fridge and walked back out to where Mike was standing. She held the band out to him and smiled faintly. "Is that enough...?" She asked softly.

"Yes. That's just enough. Thank you so much." Mike said, taking the bag from Nina's hands. He gave her a smile. "I guess I'll just see you around." He said, blushing a tiny bit. He turned to leave and go back to Emilie's dorm, a huge grin on his face.

Yes. That's just enough. Thank you so much. Nina's smile grew a little wider, looking quite pleased with his answer. She nodded slowly. "No problem." She answered softly. She still felt a little awkward talking to the boy, though that was normal. Nina always felt strange when talking to people she didn't know. She was gradually beginning to be more comfortable around him, though. I guess I'll just see you around. Again, Nina nodded, watching as he turned to leave. "Yeah, I guess..." She replied softly, almost in that of a whisper, to the point where she wasn't even sure if he could hear her. She sighed softly, shutting the door as he left. She thought that she would like to see that boy again sometime, though she was unsure how likely it would be.
Emilie, who had been laying on her bed humming softly to herself as she waited for Mike's return, noticed the boy approaching her room. He noticed his wide grin and narrowed her eyes a little in suspicion. What was he so happy for? She sat up a little, smirking at him teasingly. "What are you so happy about all the sudden?" She asked, her voice just a bit mocking toward him, though she meant it in a friendly, loving way rather than just being completely rude.

Mike walked over to Emilie and handed her the ice. "Nothing." He said, coughly a little, the smile fading from his face. He stood next to Emilie's bed, watching her.

Emilie took the ice from Mike's hand, pursing her lips as she stared at him. She turned her attention to her ankle as she gently rested the pack of ice upon it. Nothing. She giggled softly at this. "Doesn't seem like..." She paused, rolling her eyes back to him. "Nothing." She said, immitating the way he had said the word.

"Well it isn't," He said his voice fading. "Not really anyway." He whispered almost silently. He watched Emilie apply the ice to her ankle. He felt kind of usless, but didn't want to say anything. He sighed.

Well it isn't. Not really anyway. Emilie flicked her head back sophisticatedly, making a 'pssht' noise with her lips. She rolled her eyes in disbelief. She looked at him, interest shimmering in her eyes. She stared at him for a few moments, directly in his eyes, as if trying to see what he was really thinking. After a minute or two, she spoke again. "I don't believe you." She said, tilting her head to the side as she raised her eyebrows challengingly. She wasn't going to let this go that easily. She was a rather persistent girl, that Emilie Autumn.

Mike bent his head over and pushed his hair to the side, fixing it. He always did that. He looked back up at Emilie. "Well, just because I help you doesn't mean I have to tell you everything and it also doesn't mean that you have to believe everything that I say." He replied, teasing her. Her noticed that Emilie was a very determined girl sometimes.
