Mike smiled faintly. "It's fine." He said. "Here can you sit on the table so I can pick you up?" He asked, looking at the girl. He didn't know why he helped her, but thought that it was a good thing to do.

It's fine. A small smile crossed Emilie's face as she gazed upon him, though it disappeared quickly. Here can you sit on the table so I can pick you up? She looked down, then up at him. She nodded. For once, she listened and obeyed. She sat down on the edge of the table, putting her hands in between her semi-bare, skinny legs. She stared at the ground, lethargy overcoming her. She closed her eyes for a moment, before something hit her. They opened suddenly as she muttered, "Your name..." She looked up at the boy, "What is your name, sweet boy?" She asked, sincere in her words, her eyes looking curious and interested in his answer.

Mike let out a little laugh of amusement. "My name is Mike, not sweet boy." He said, smiling. Mike moved towards her and put one of his arms under her legs and one on her back. He gently lifted her and started to walk towards the dorms. "Your name is?" He asked, he remembered her saying something, but couldn't exactly put his finger on it.

Emilie smiled cutely as he laughed. My name is Mike, not sweet boy. Her smile widened as she giggled softly. "Well, you are a rather sweet boy, Mikey." She said, her voice sounding rather cheerful for once. She added an 'ie' kind of sound to his name, though she wasn't all that sure he would like that. Hopefully he wouldn't mind. Your name is? He gazed upon him youthfully. "I'm Emilie. Emilie Autumn." She said with a happy nod.

Mike smiled. Great now I have a nickname too. He thought, not really minding. "That's a nice name." He said, looking at her. He repeated the name over in his head. It was a pretty name.

Emilie giggled again as he smiled. She liked his smile; it was rather cute. That's a nice name. She smiled, looking rather pleased by his words. People didn't give her compliments often unless they were drunk or on some kind of drug, two things she was certain this boy was not. "Why, thank you." She said jovially.
A silence fell over her for a moment. She looked down at the ground and her smile turned into a frown. She began to feel kind of bad for the way she treated him before. Finally, she spoke, "I'm sorry for the way I treated you before. It was rude of me." She said apogetically, pouting sweetly as she once again looked at him. She looked childish, though she meant what she said wholeheartedly.

Mike's smile grew wide. "It's okay, I understand. But can you tell me what really happened? Because I have a feeling that you didn't just try to get a guy's wallet." He said, being careful what he said.

It's okay, I understand. But can you tell me what really happened? Because I have a feeling that you didn't just try to get a guy's wallet. Emilie's frown deepened. She looked away quickly, inhaling slowly. Her face remained blank and ashamed for a moment. Thinking about it, what she had done to try to get that wallet and the money in it wasn't all that lady-like of her. "Well... It's long. It's complicated." She said softly, closing her eyes. She opened her mouth to explain, though her lips quivered and no words came out. She was unsure how to begin. She was unsure how to put it so she didn't sound like a complete tramp.
"I drove to a bar earlier today... For a drink. Oh, I only wanted a drink. Just one drink... But..." She paused, her voice trailing off. Already, her story sounded horrible. She was seventeen, four years under the drinking age. That really made her sound lovely. She suddenly looked horrified as she replayed the moments in her head. She put her hands over her mouth, gasping. Never had she thought of her actions to be so terrible, but then again, she never thought about her actions much at all. "Oh my God... I'm such a tramp...!" She cried, closing her eyes tightly as she tried to hold back her tears. After all these years of doing such cold-hearted things, finally, in the arms of a boy she hardly knew, she broke down.

"Emilie. It's okay." He said very suprised that she was being so emotional right now. He tried to comfort her, but didn't really know how.

Emilie. It's okay. Emilie sighed, trying to calm herself down. "No it's not..." She said softly, shaking her head, her messy red hair falling over her face. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry! I'm such an awful girl." Her hands fell onto her lap as she looked up at Mike. She felt terrible; first for what she had done, second for dumping it on him, when they hardly knew each other. She wasn't sure if she should continue with the story of her evening or not. She felt horrible about telling him; she didn't want him to hate her. She was actually kind of fond of this boy. "I don't think I should continue; you will hate me even more than you already do if you hear the rest."

"Its fine you don't have to finish your story if you don't want to." He said flashing her a soft smile. His eyes were filled with concern for her. He didn't even know her, but he had to make sure that he was okay.

Its fine you don't have to finish your story if you don't want to. Emilie nodded slowly, though she shook her head quickly afterward. "You won't like me if you hear the rest." She repeated softly, closing her eyes. She thought for a moment. He must think her crazy, acting this way. This wasn't exactly like Emilie at all. She was not normally this emotional about her endevours with drunken men. How many drinks did she have? One? Two? Two. She had two. She was certain. What if they were spiked with something? That would be a ligitimate reason for being so loopy. Questions ran through her mind about what had happen that night, but she cut them off quickly as a small smirk crossed her face. "You must think I'm crazy, don't you?" She asked quietly, opening her eyes as she looked at Mike.

Mike looked down at her. "Not really." He said, the truth was he didn't think anything about it. His friends had done some weird stuff in their lives. So he was mostly used to crazy and random stuff.

Not really. Emilie looked taken aback by his words. He didn't? Was he serious? Was he just trying to be nice? She blinked, her jaw dropping. She didn't exactly expect 'not really' as an answer. She was thinking more along the lines of 'well, yes, kind of, but that's okay.' Though Emilie always thought that they didn't think it was okay at all, they all just said that to be polite. But that was just a theory of hers. That's what most people said. "Really?" She asked softly. Well, perhaps she shouldn't complain. Maybe it was good to have one person who didn't think she was a total nut case.

"Yeah, my friends are random and wierd. They do all sorts of stupid and crazy stuff so I'm used to it." He replied, just looking straight ahead. This was the total truth of course and he didn't understand why she was making such a fuss about it.
