Marie sighed, she would take the money for now, but eventually it would be Max's. "Fine." She said, smiling. She opened her container that held her cheesecake. It came with a fork and napkin so she had them already. She took a piece of the cheesecake and ate it. It was pretty good for school food. She put another piece on her fork. "Do you want some?" She asked Max, offering him some.

Max chuckled, once more feeling triumphant. Fine. He nodded. "Good." He said, smiling as well. He leaned back in his chair, taking the water bottle and twisting the cap open as he watched her eat her pie, or cake, or whatever the heck it was. It didn't look that appitizing to him, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Do you want some? He shook his head. "No thanks.. I'm good." He said, trying to be a little poliete about it.

Marie smiled. "Alright, if your sure." She said laughing a little. She ate a few more bites of the cheesecake and put the fork in the container. She grabbed her bottle of water and twisted the cap off. She took a few sips and placed it down on the table. She looked at Max, smiling.

Alright, if your sure. Max nodded once more, taking a sip of the water before placing it back on the table. He twisted the cap back onto it and sighed softly, watching her eat. He sat casually in the chair, getting lost in his thoughts for a moment. He had kind of run out of things to talk about at the moment. Ah, well. Maybe she didn't like to talk while she was eating. He knew some people in his family didn't. Then again, maybe he shouldn't be comparing Marie to his 'family'...

Marie ate in silence, though she thought it was weird. She didn't really know Max all that well, but he didn't seem like he had a lot to say. She didn't want to say anything, that way she wasn't being rude.
