Name: Nina Green
Gender: Female
Age: Fifteen years old
Birthday: October 31st
Year: Fourth
Rank: Student
Appearance: xx1 xx2 xx3 xx4 xx5 xx6 xx7 xx8 [most recent] Nina Green is a very petite, short girl. She is only about five feet two inches tall, while most teenagers her age are a few inches taller. She is very skinny and tiny, almost to the point where you'd think she'd have some kind of disorder. But, alas, she does not, she just keeps herself very fit and in very nice shape. She has changed her hair many different times, but at the moment, it's long and black, similar to her brother, Max Green. Her skin is very pale and her eyes are beautiful shade of green. Plus, she has a nose ring on her left nostril. Her clothing style is very dark. She takes after her brother in that sense, wearing a lot of black and red and grey and other colors, while most girls would want to wear pink or white, or other bright colors.
Personality: Nina is very quiet and shy around most people. She's a very calm girl most of the time, and just wants the best for everyone. Despite her dark style and clothing, she's very sweet and kind and caring about everyone she meets. She tries to stay optimistic about things and tries to look on the bright side. Though she may appear quite the opposite at a first glance, she just wants to love and be loved in return. She practices yoga in the mornings and at night before she goes to bed, and is also a vegan.
She plays a lot of classical instruments, like the clarinet, saxophone, violin, piano, percussion, and piccolo. But her main instrument is the flute, and the one she has been playing the longest. She's been playing she since was about eight, so for about eight years now. She's good at it, too, so that helps a great deal. She's in an orchestra and plays the flute in musicals when she's needed. And she gets paid for it, too, so that's a plus. And she plays sometimes at the club or for weddings and such.
Nina is very studious and most definately does not like to procrastinate. She's a hard worker and is very smart. She gets for the most part straight A's. Normally, you hear of the smart people being very uptight and serious, but Nina is not like this. In fact, she is very humble, and a very fun person to be around once you get to know her.
Despite the fact her brother is an atheist, she believes in God and follows the Catholic religion, though she was never baptised into any religion when she was a child. Her mother always taught her of it, and she followed on with it even though her mother is gone. She won't push her religion, and very rarely talks about it, for they say the two worst things to talk about are religion and politics, for you could offend someone. And that was the last thing Nina wanted to do.
Nina is also a very excellent artist. She loves to paint, almost as much as she loves playing music. It's more of a hobby for her, though, and her career in music is more important.
History: Nina grew up in Nevada, not far from California. She lived happily with her parents and other brother Max for awhile, though things started to go downhill quickly. They argued and fought a lot, though, leaving poor Max and Nina neglected and alone most of the time. But, both sort of thought of this as a blessing and a curse, for if their parents didn't think they were so lonely they probably wouldn't have been given the chance to play their instruments and wouldn't have been given the awesome experience to play with a band and in front of people.
When Max was twelve and Nina was ten their parents got divorced, and his father moved here with his brother, Max and Nina's uncle, and their father and uncle went into the business of car repair together When Max was about fourteen, he started helping them with the guidance of his uncle, since, his father mostly ignored him. About a year later, he was given a job there.
Though their father was cold-hearted toward Max, he absolutely adored Nina. He showered her with praise and affection and care, though, Nina didn't exactly want it. She and Max spent their days together trying to avoid their father. Even though her father didn't appear to care for Max, Nina tried her best to make him feel wanted. She loved spending time with her brother, and the two became very close through the years.
About a month after this, Max and Nina's mother got into a car accident and died, leaving both in the care of their somewhat crazy father. Max's mother's death caused great distress for both of the siblings, but it was especially hard for Max. Even though both tried to be strong for each other, it was obvious both were suffering great anguish and misery. The pain has eased greatly for Nina since then, though she knows it still bothers her brother very much.

IC: Nina Green was sitting on the carpeted ground of the Library, Indian Style, looking for a certain book on the bottom shelf. She was looking for a Stephen King book, called "Salems' Lot." She had just finished reading "The Stand," and, she was interested in the whole vampire thing, so she figured she would pick it up somewhere. Normally she would be in the high school library looking for it, but, since that was closed, Nina decided to come here, instead.
She had a small, optimistic smile over her face as she hummed softly to herself as she looked for it. She was singing Eisley's "One Day I Slowly Floated Away." She was dressed differently than most people in the library -- Torn fishnet stockings and tall black boots with a bunch of belts and stuff on them. She wore a pretty red and black skirt that poofed out a bit and a black corset with velvet sleeves.
Apparently, her outfit was enough to make a young child and their mother to think she worked at the place. Or perhaps it was her sitting down on the ground ever so comfortably and humming to herself like she came to this place often. The mother's voice startled her, making Nina jump out of her thoughts and back to reality. The woman laughed softly. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I was just wondering if you could help my son and I find a book...?" She asked ever so kindly.
Nina gave her a puzzled look. "Uh, well, I don't..." She sighed, looking at their faces. What would be the harm in helping them out? She smiled polietely and stood up. "S-Sure. What book are you looking for?" The little boy answered loudly. "Pirate books!" He said happily. His mother laughed, and Nina smiled again. That shouldn't be too hard. "Okay. I think I could direct you towards some of those." She said with a nod, gesturing for the two to follow as she walked towards the childrens section.
Well, so much for finding her Stephen King novel. Nina walked down the asile towards the counter in the back of the small library. She held two books to her chest: "What Dreams May Come" by Richard Matheson, and "A Raisin In the Sun" by Lorraine Hansberry. She had read "A Raisin In the Sun" already, but, she decided to pick it up and read it again for the fun of it. There was no harm in re-reading a book, right?
Nina was staring at the ground as she walked, which, probably wasn't the best idea. She wasn't paying much attention to wear she was walking, and ended up bumping into another person who was walking in the opposite direction. She stepped back suddenly, her eyes going wide as she let out a small gasp in surprise. She dropped her books suddenly, her eyes going wide. "Oh, gosh, I'm really sorry. Are you alright?" She asked worriedly.
